Rough completed!

It came in at 6800 words.  It'smy 2nd largest story,and we'll see where it goes when I can get it torn apart in crit.

PS: An odd thing about your LJ CSS: When replying to a commment, your "Tags" div appears in the right 1/3 of the "Message" text box. Odd....

interesting. My viewer is a standard Explorer on Windows, and the tag view on it is a micro gray thing at the top on the right side of the screen.

Perhaps I'll try other styles for the page. I know that occasionally when I read a friends post text is imposed over other words. Maybe it's the style I'm using for my journal.

Could be - I use IE7; I suspect that the CSS uses a hard-coded location for the div rather than relative location.
