I think I might be back. I've been working on editing a tale, looking at perhaps sending it off to WotF for whatever quarter I finish the edit in. Also, a different twist came to me involving a worldwalker idea I've had for some time now. I will have to write that up, just have to!
A local (well, close anyway) library sent me an invitation to participate in an author signing program they host, to take place on Saturday, February 7th. This came out of the blue, and it is the first that came to be from someone hunting me up instead of me putting out feelers of my own.
Hadley Rille Books has gone wide distribution! Well, at least with one title, distributed in a number of B&N stores in various larger market areas. This title is Ruins Extraterrestrial, and includes my second sold story, Heartcry. If you wish to see if a B&N store close to you carries the title, go to http://books.barnesandnoble.com/search/results.aspx?WRD=Ruins+Extraterrestrial
and at the right is a link that says "Check store availability" where you can enter your zip code. There might be a few pages of listed stores around your zipcode; checking through them will show if any are listed as having the title in stock. It makes an awesome stocking stuffer for the holidays….hint!
I've happy with TV lately, not because of what new things to watch, but instead, with re-runs. Both Spike and Sci-Fi networks has been running Seven Days again. This series is one of my all-time favorites, and one I wish I could get on DVD. It lasted only 3 seasons, And now, after 9 or 10 years, I can see many of the episodes I missed.
