I like Medium. It's one of my favorite TV shows in the area that it's in, and last night was a really good episode.
However -- Dude Writers! Having the ONLY black character of any import in the whole show take the fall for all of the white guys is NOT A GOOD THING!
Geeze! I have a bit of tolerance for mild racism, but this nearly made me overlook the fact that it was a good story, that it dealt with distasteful issues in an interesting way, and it was just a good episode. This stood out and slapped me, and for the first time in some time miffed me enough to vent about it.
There were 4 characters involved in that sub-plot. You could well have made the tall, sour-faced anorexic lawyer-looking guy take the fall instead of the black physician. Geeze.
