Thoughts in general

Today I was going to add wordage to the story I am working on towards submitting to Ruins: Metropolis.  As usual, I was totally pulled from the project by the ever-evil draw of Diablo 2.  That has to be the #1 cause of my not writing as much as I know I can.  Heck, the three tales I've had accepted this year were written at work, not home.  I'm thinking that the deadline thing of 10/31 will make the difference -- that was how I finished those last few, with deadlines looming and determination shoving me.  The closer I get to that, the deadline, the less chance I have to second guess what I am writing and to actually write the story to get it out.

We'll see.  3 weeks to go, and only 750 words done.
